An Unexpected Night of Surprises

The check-in was smooth, and the staff’s friendliness made us feel welcome right away. We especially enjoyed the quirky decor of the lobby, which gave a unique vibe to our stay.

Unfortunately, the room was a disappointment. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with visible signs of neglect. It felt unwelcoming, and we had to constantly check everywhere to ensure it was safe for our kids.

Consider checking the bathroom for cleanliness upon arrival, as some areas may need immediate attention.

the hotel is super close to the beautiful swan lake iris gardens, which is just a 2.5 km walk from your door, so you can easily enjoy a peaceful afternoon stroll there. The sumter county museum is only about 1 km away, making it easy to check out local history. the staff at the hotel were also really nice and helpful during my stay.

absolutely terrible experience! i expected comped drinks after such a horror show, but all i got was indifference! don’t even get me started on the staff lurking like creeps. ugh, i almost gave this a decent review but just couldn’t!

Staying with my family, we found this hotel conveniently located near the golf course, which was a hit for the dads! The kids enjoyed our time at the nearby Swan Lake Iris Gardens, just a short drive away.

For dads, it would be great if the cleanliness could improve.

King Room had overwhelming odor. cleanliness was a significant issue.

The room was pretty gross. There was a mold smell throughout, and I noticed wet floors from a leak. It felt unclean and just not welcoming at all. I had to seriously check everywhere to make sure it was safe, and I couldn't even relax. I was really concerned about putting my stuff down. Not a great experience at all.

the seasonal pool was refreshing and opened just as the weather got warm. the check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. also, it's super close to beautiful swan lake iris gardens and the sumter county museum, which made my visit even more enjoyable.

Tony's Pizza is a real gem, serving up slices that can only be described as heavenly! The local craft beers at Sumter Original Brewery are a must-try. you'll feel like a Sumter local with every sip. Not to mention, the staff was amazing, professional, polite, and extremely helpful during my stay.

The room I was in was disgusting. Mold everywhere, roaches, moldy food in the refrigerator, blood stains on the curtains, dirt on the sink. The shower looked like it hadn’t been clean in months. But the best thing was the bullet holes in the window covered with tape—what a unique touch!

The pool should’ve been a refreshing spot but instead sat locked up and blackened, with no signs of maintenance. I found myself scanning for a clean spot to place my luggage, feeling uneasy about the cleanliness of the room.
